Boy, it was difficult to find the time to write about these fifty-two films! I fell behind and had a crunch time (similar to the #DLMChallenge [and that was 368 films]) at the last few months (culminating in four entries in the very last week)!

To anyone who’s wondering what this series was about, then click here.

Now, a major regret…

I regret including Marvel’s The Avengers in this collection as it felt right at the time based on my original idea (of impactful firsts [and my love of crossovers]), but it was a horrible choice in hindsight because I was twenty-seven when it was released and it was hardly from my “childhood.”

And, I was originally going to continue to do this for 2017 as I had so many leftover films, but then decided against it. I then talked myself back into it as I almost did for the #DLMChallenge in 2016.

So #52PickUp will continue into 2017!! And I’d like to see more views on these! As of this posting, four entries have ZERO views, and ALL POSTS had a combined view count of 378

Ouch.

Next year will feature a lot of 90s films, comedies, and obscure Direct-to-video flicks! It’s going to be a blast!

Also, be sure to scroll to the end to see all of the logos in ONE PHOTO!

Lessons learned:

  1. Keep ahead of the films, so they don’t gang up on you!
  2. Nostalgia isn’t always quality, but I did watch some great films as a kid.
  3. All of those logos together can be really persuasive in continuing the series.
