For #48 of the #DLMChallenge #365moviesin365days on March 31st I watched: Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
Old Sci-fi films offer a great perspective on “advanced technology” and it’s nice to see how the Close Encounters’ spaceships have a beautiful design that paved the way for modern cinema’s achievements.
The idea was interesting, and now I get that reference in Paul with Devil’s Tower.
Not to mention that this is one of the “classics” I had never seen (spoilers, many more to come). I’m excited to watch other Spielberg greats from his early years in cinema.
