22- #DLMChallenge “Focus”

For #22 of the #DLMChallenge #365moviesin365days on February 27th I saw Focus.

This is one of Will Smith’s best films in quite some time.

His charisma and talent are in full display here. The film itself left me surprisingly confused in some of its narrative choices. Why split the movie with such a time jump?

What’s there is definitely an enjoyable effort and I think it is worth your time. But if you do see it and disagree, please comment on this post and we can have a discussion.

The Main Crew:

Cinematographer: Xavier Grobet (Enough Said, Monster House)

Written and Directed by: Glenn Ficarra & John Requa (I Love You Phillip Morris, Bad Santa {Written by only])

The Main Cast:

Will Smith (Independence Day, Bad Boys)

Margot Robbie (Suicide Squad, The Wolf of Wall Street)

Gerald McRaney (Major Dad, The NeverEnding Story)

Adrian Martinez (American Hustle, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty)
