90- #DLMChallenge “The Voices”

For #90 of the #DLMChallenge #365moviesin365days on May 20th I watched: The Voices.

I love actors who consistently pick roles that are super risky, because it allows them to find themselves, hone their skills, and try new things. Therefore these are also the actors whom I highly respect. And yet there is one man who picks said roles who can be hit or miss, but is still a kick-ass man.

That man is Ryan Reynolds, and this is one of his hits: The Voices.

The Voices is a fantastic dark comedy about a man who needs medication in order to function as a normal adult. When he doesn’t take it… shit gets weird.

The cast is amazing. Gemma Arterton and Anna Kendrick are the women who have to survive his rampage. Jacki Weaver plays the psychiatrist who has to try and make him mentally stable. And believe it or not, The Voices that Reynolds hears are his own, and not of some other actors like I had believed.

Just watch and enjoy this wild ride of a movie. One of my favorites of the entire challenge.

Be warned, it is very much a Rated R, and that means it’s graphic.
