I could not have planned this better… For #69 of the #DLMChallenge #365moviesin365days on April 23rd I watched: They Came Together.
A fantastic spoof of the typical junk that is romantic comedies (largely of You’ve Got Mail); They Came Together starts with a dinner scene where the couple explains their meet-cute (ugh, I hate myself for that) to another couple.
Then we jump into their backstory and in typical David Wain fashion (like Wet Hot American Summer) horribly parody You’ve Got Mail. It’s hilariously bad and it’s genius.
Watch it if you like his type of humor.
