For #45 of the #DLMChallenge #365moviesin365days on March 30th I watched: Pitch Perfect.
I’ve been a big fan of Anna Kendrick and thanks to my ex wife and her daughter I had seen bits and pieces of this movie.
And boy did I enjoy this. I’m excited that we live in a day and age where we can see a more frequent offering of female-led films (although that ratio is still lacking).
The cast is hilarious, and the film is well done. One of my guilty pleasures also introduced through my ex and her daughter was Glee, and this hits the same note (no pun intended).
Pitch Perfect is the kind of movie men and women can enjoy. I’d watch it if you like singing, Glee, and/or Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson.
This film features ton of funny actors such as Joe Lo Truglio, Jason Jones, Adam Devine, Har Mar Superstar, Donald Faison, and of course Elizabeth Banks & John Michael Higgins.
The Main Crew:
Cinematographer: Julio Macat (Home Alone, Wedding Crashers)
Based on the book by: Mickey Rapkin (Pitch Perfect)
Screenplay by: Kay Cannon (30 Rock, New Girl)
Directed by: Jason Moore (Sisters, Trophy Wife)
The Main Cast:
Anna Kendrick (Up in the Air, The Voices [Two of my favorites of hers])
Rebel Wilson (Super Fun Night, Ice Age: Continental Drift)
Brittany Snow (John Tucker Must Die, Hairspray)
Skylar Astin (21 & Over, Wreck-It Ralph)
Anna Camp (The Help, True Blood)
