For #25 of the #DLMChallenge #365moviesin365days on March 7th I watched: Chappie.
Yeah.
At first glance, I liked the themes that this movie tackled: morality, artificial intelligence, war, singularity; but then I realized that they really didn’t explore a lot of those themes.
And I love some of the performances, but they felt underused. Others, like the duo of Die Antwoord I felt were too prominent in the film. Their characters were annoying. I did like the fact that Chappie had this negative influence from Ninja, but he was just so damn aggravating.
Overall this film is worth watching, but I advise you to make your own personal conclusions on the film.
