11- #DLMChallenge “Sleepwalk With Me”

For #11 of the #DLMChallenge #365moviesin365days on February 7th, I watched a most-talked about “near-biopic” as my number 11 movie: Sleepwalk With Me.

Thanks to podcasts like Doug Loves Movies and Filmspotting, I knew this would be good, but I didn’t know how good. Mike Birbiglia stars as Mike Pandamiglio in a thinly-veiled version of Mike’s real-life rise in his comedic career, as well as the mountain-sized road bumps to the top.

It’s heartfelt and hilarious all in one and it puts a spotlight on a condition known as REM sleep behavior disorder.

Highly recommended.
