2- #DLMChallenge “Gone Girl”

This is when I decided to begin my #DLMChallenge #365moviesin365days journey when on January 15, I watched Gone Girl. Holy shit what a movie. One of my favorite David Fincher films, and that’s clearly saying a lot.

The script is beautifully crafted by the original writer of the novel, Gillian Flynn. I think this allows for a more adept adaptation of the source material. Imagine Tolkien writing his own Lord of the Rings movies… Yeah, it probably would be weird. But this one is (from what I hear) translated magnificently.

The Main Crew:

Cinematographer: Jeff Cronenweth (Fight Club, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo)

Written by: Gillian Flynn

Directed by: David Fincher (The Social Network, Se7en)

The Main Cast:

Ben Affleck (Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, Argo)

Rosamund Pike (The World’s End, Die Another Day)

Neil Patrick Harris (I mean, he’s NPH (Not a film), A Million Ways to Die in the West, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle)

Tyler Perry (Alex Cross, Madea Gets a Job)
