Okay, “Better late than never” has been my motto for the past year, but now that I have a new, “less-demanding” job, here’s some blog content! I must keep up with my 2019 goals.
Here are my most anticipated films of 2019. Let’s see how this compares to the eventual Top Ten List of 2019 in December…
I guarantee there will be others that come into my radar as award season draws near, but these are the (mostly) tentpole releases scheduled to hit in 2019. So, without further adieu: Continue reading
It’s that time of the year again! Ever since the #DLMChallenge of 2015, I’ve been fascinated with keeping track of all of the films I’ve watched over the year, even though it’s been a rather busy year! (See the lists for 2016 and 2017.)
I watched 121 Films TOTAL with 87 of those NEW TO ME.
I’m an amateur statistician, and this list is one of many for me. So here are some superlatives and statistics before I unveil the complete list (Top Ten of 2018 coming soon)! Continue reading
I’ve been slacking. I’ll be the first to admit it. I meant to make an individual post about each film I had thought had a chance to make my Top Ten list of 2017, and between work and other projects, I have let you, fine readers, down.
To make it up to you, here are the films that may very well make my Top Ten list this year that don’t have their own post. For the previously posted see– Split | Get Out | Logan | Kong: Skull Island |
Wow, I didn’t post that many, did I? I hope you all didn’t think that I hadn’t seen any more great films! I will continue posting #ConTENders with the jam-packed fall and winter as scheduled. So stay tuned for that. Continue reading
I know, I know, I get it; there was no #DLMChallenge this year, but in this whirlwind of 366 days, I’ve changed my life, did many exciting things, and am working towards my long overdue goals.
But… I managed to still squeeze some movies in. My goal for this year was a lofty 200 NEW to me Movies, but I only made it to 104.
Anyways, here’s the list (after some basic stats). Let me know what you’ve seen from it in the comments below (Top Ten Post)! Continue reading
The #DLMChallenge also made me want to slow down and take my time reviewing each film from 2015 with a calculated examination.
The result is another film series called stupidly enough #ConTENders. These will be the films of 2016 that may make my Top 10 list at the end of the year. (It could have been much worse, I almost called it #Con10ders).
There will be no limit to these reviews, and at the end of the year, I will recount the Top 10 Films of 2016 in a summary post.
Simple enough, yes?

#ConTENders is the second new series of three that I will be writing this year. It’s pacing will be wholly dependent on the amount of 2016 films I see and of course when I see them. Does the name suck? Or is it at least better than #Con10ders? I know that’s true. Comment below.
