You know, lately, if I wasn’t so busy writing blank pages, then it sure seems as though I wrote an awful lot about depression. Yet there are always two sides to a coin and when you flip one in the air, you’re bound to see the other side eventually. It may not look like it when the damned thing is spinning so fast, but the other side – the face side – is there at the ready; in a moment’s notice.

My attitude had forever been altered for the better, even as I returned to work. Sure, I still despised the job– I mean, who likes trying to get people into debt? Yet I had this sense of comfort in it all. I was alive; so the simple fact I could feel anything at all – even if it was disapproval of the company’s practices – was reassuring, to say the least.
I will forever regret the decision I made last night. If there was ever truth to the parallel universe theory, wherein with every individual’s decision, comes a split universe where the opposite reaction occurs, then this is proof positive of how life-changing that event could have been.
It’s that time of year again (or rather it’s long overdue)! Where I take my favorite films of the year, and arbitrarily order them to my liking for all of you to read. I’m quite needy, right? Not only that, but they’re never as easy as one might expect them to be, and 2016 was no exception.
Once again, like the Top 15 of 2015, this list is a collection derived from both the caliber of the films and how they impacted me on a personal level.
