All of the Films I Watched in 2017!

Ever since the #DLMChallenge of 2015, I’ve been fascinated with keeping track of all of the new films I watched in a particular year, but this time, I kept track of EVERY film I ever watched this year including the entirety of the second (and LAST) #52PickUp. (See 2016’s list.)

After it was all said and done, I watched 157 TOTAL with 87 of those NEW TO ME.

Anyways, here’s the list (after some basic stats). Let me know what you’ve seen from it in the comments below (Top Ten of 2017 coming soon)!Read More »

The Wayward Traveler Chronicles Day 6

“The Wayward Traveler Chronicles” will be a series of journal entries recording my trip across the country from Maine to California.

This day was the weirdest one for me yet. I wasn’t just “visiting” my friends and family, this time I was moving west. I’d been to Portland, saw friends both old and new, then went to Boston to spend some leisurely time with even more, and then saw my family in Connecticut, but this was the first day I had no more visits. It was do or die.

I thought about this notion in the shower this morning. I woke up to see the kids off for once (instead of sleeping well past their departure times). I set my alarm for six, and wouldn’t you know it? I woke up!

The Wayward Traveler Chronicles Day 5

“The Wayward Traveler Chronicles” will be a series of journal entries recording my trip across the country from Maine to California.

My sister’s the superintendent of Sunday school at their church, so first we had to make a stop at the church to tidy up a bit. My job was to keep Connor company.

Best Threequels! -We Need Movies Ep. 12

How many good threequels are there, really? It’s rare a third film in a trilogy or series is even passable let alone the best film! Brandon and Jamie discuss their favorites (and not so favorites) in this episode.

What’s your favorite third film in a film series? Mine’s Back to the Future Part III, but I’m totally bias to that trilogy.
