Okay, so I’m dreadfully behind. In order to catch up, here are four days in one post!

First, Day Eighteen: I was back on Legion! Their craft services are one of the best around! What did I eat, though?

Chef Robert Catering strikes again!

There are eggs under there, I promise.

Then, we spent the day in Woodland Hills, and I didn’t eat much until lunch. Curse you, delicious Jersey Mike’s Sub Snack!

A car’s coming!! Shimmy!

Woodland Hills has some pretty buildings.

And my lunch:

Yum!

For Day Nineteen, I spent Saturday writing, then readying myself to drive for Lyft, only to have one of my diagnosed issues with malabsorption where I feel “drunk” and full of brain fog. And here I thought the Whole30 diet would help with this… Well, I take that back, it did lessen the intensity and frequency of them, I think. However, when they happen, they force me to take a moment out of my routine and recompose myself.

Anyway, here’s breakfast!

My breakfast satiated me until hours later when I walked to Coffee Source. I pulled out my Graze snack, Booster Seeds (raw pumpkin, sunflower, and flaxseeds). I got a fair amount of writing done at Coffee Source, and then, by the time I got home I had that episode. When I finally felt better, I ate supper:

Day Twenty: My breakfast featured an all-star buffet of my usuals, but the only issue is that I may have gone a tad overboard and cooked too much:

There’s also a massive bed of onions under those eggs.

I again went to a coffee shop (this time, Alfred’s) and wrote some more! Yay, productive weekends! Of course, I was filled with regret due to my inability to drive, so I eventually managed a few hours and got little ride requests… Ugh. Can’t rely on Lyft for money these days…

I got home early and watched two films from 2017; one to be a potential contender for my Top Ten of 2017, and the other out of sheer morbid curiosity.

Rings and A Ghost Story, if you were wondering. I’ll leave you to decide which is which. The latter is a thoughtful expression of love, loss, and our ultimate place in this world. The former is a poorly written, acted, and paced film that attempts to fill in the blanks of lore for which no one cares.

Oh, but here’s my brother with his newborn first son! No curses, please!

Day Twenty-One:

Another day on Legion and another day of the same ol’ breakfast!

I’ve forgotten (yet again) to take a photo before I dig into my eggs…

It was a late call (11 AM), and there was no caterer today; they were on the main unit. Luckily, Bourg Craft Services is lovely and hooked the crew up with a lavish breakfast. I only had another banana off of their offerings.

Since we were sans caterer, we had a one-hour walk away lunch today. Again, Bourg offered a wonderful spread, this time, Korean Barbeque. BUT! I couldn’t have any of it, so I walked to my nearest Fatburger and ordered a Skinny Burger without mayo or cheese.

With Bacon!

I grazed on fruits until we wrapped. I had some almonds and an apple on the way home. And that’s it! Four days in an incredibly cramped nutshell! I hope you enjoyed this quick recap post!

Tune in for today, Day Twenty-Two (tomorrow)!

Jamie writes about himself a lot. Yeah, he knows that can be irritating, but he hopes that people can learn from his mistakes, like when he had cancer and waited too long to chase his dream. Learn more about his battle with Leukemia (AML) in his on-going first draft of his book here.
